Western Railroad Discussion > AZ Truxton flyover open?Date: 10/28/20 12:40 AZ Truxton flyover open? Author: Lackawanna484 I noticed several BNSF trains on the not usual tracks in Flagstaff last night.
Downhill eastbound on the closed to platform track, uphill westbound on the brewery track. Was this a one off, or is this the new procedure? Posted from Android Date: 10/28/20 12:45 Re: AZ Truxton flyover open? Author: callum_out The flyover opened on Sunday and left hand running to past Belen is now normal. Amtrak still
crosses over to service Flagstaff and Winslow. Out Date: 10/28/20 13:09 Re: AZ Truxton flyover open? Author: Lackawanna484 Thanks

Subtracting the approximate length of the turnouts, I would guess the siding is approximately 11,600 foot or so, but that is just a wild guess.
