Some End Of The Month Traffic On The BNSF

It was a cool sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 52-29. Yesterday had a windy(35-50mph) cold front blow thru the area with leaves and dust everywhere. Traffic is at 32 trains since midnight with many more on the way. Here some of the trains from today and the last couple of days.

10/29/2020

1. EB 350pm intermodal/auto train with BNSF 5488-5750-5024 on the point with DPU.
2. DPU BNSF 3882 on same train.

10/30/2020

3. Grab shot of EB 903am empty ethanol train with BNSF 7258-6350 on the pull with DPU.

4. WB 925am grain train with BNSF 6153-5142 on the point with DPU.
5. WB 938am grain train with BNSF 5181-8221 on the pull with DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
6. EB 1004m intermodal/auto train with BNSF 8154-4260 on the point with DPU.

8. WB 1020am grain train with BNSF 5723-6214 and CP 9755 on the pull with DPU.

11. WB 1229pm garbage/manifest train with BNSF 7644-3007-1655-8372 on the pull with DPU.
12. Another quick look at 3007-1655 on same train.

13. WB 1048am manifest train with BNSF 4164-7899 on the point with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
14. WB 1059am oil train with BNSF 7612-4239 on the pull with DPU's.
15. DPU's BNSF 5080-6635 on same train fading away.

16. EB 1124am grain train with BNSF 7527-3792 on the point with DPU.
17. DPU BNSF 7016 on same train fading away by old NP Ritzville Depot.
18. EB 1137am manifest train with BNSF 8372-7644 on the pull with no DPU.

21. DPU BNSF 4723 on same train fading away.

Larry,

Very nice set of pictures..   Did you realize the BNSF 4723 was the Microsoft Simulator train unit that was used on the cover of the train sim??   Has the little MS train sim logo above the frame on the engineer's side I believe.   Not sure if it has it on both sides..   It has been floating around the PNW for the last 4 to 6 weeks that I know of.

It does, it still has it you can barley see the logo on the side. Good to see 4723 still running the rails. Nice Shots.

I'd forgotten that bit of information, thanks for the update.I even had the Simulator near twenty years ago.
