Western Railroad Discussion > KYLE . . .Date: 11/20/20 18:16 KYLE . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . made a quick round trip from home in Palmer Lake, CO, to Kanorado, KS, (pronounced CAN OH RAY DOUGH) for a funeral today, as we get older these seem to get closer together. On the way, spotted the KYLE Limon Turn facing east with headlights illuminated at 1200 hrs, noon in Limon. Returning home around 1630 hrs (four thirty) was thinking I had somehow missed it, but, spotted a headlight approaching Genoa, CO, first town east of Limon, only twelve miles east of Limon but more than four hours later! With little light left, made a quick pull over off I-70 for a phone grab, since I failed to bring my camera along, as the train meandered east at ten mph, with more than eighty miles to go on it's hundred plus mile trek back to Goodland, KS.
