I should have stayed at home!
Author: Q4960

I had a choice to make, work today or Saturday.  I chose to work tomorrow because the weather sounded better today to catch some trains on the the BNSF's Chilli Sub.  The morning was warm and sunny, not bad for mid November, the 20th to be exact.  By the time I settled in next to the main line between Ancona and Toluca, Illinois the sun had hidden behind a cloud bank bringing with it wind and colder temperatures and spotty rain showers.  The fields next to the tracks were barren and the trees had shed their leaves.  Dark and dreary.  Maybe I should have stayed at home...

Yet processing the photos, I'm glad that I went.

Nice activity! I think #3 with the cloud deck really works. Thanks for sharing....

I agree with mojaveflyer, #3 is great!  Looks like you did well with what you had to deal with!

That sky in photo three alone was worth the effort.
