I am usually up abit before the rooster crows and this morning was no different. My initial thoughts were to say home and work on another sketch but.....(the sound of the needle getting pulled off the record) I found out there was a CP 694 coming down the River from the Twin Cities and seeing a star filled sky I headed out. My first train was CP 287 running as the CP 7034 shown here coming over the Black River in La Crosse (WI) and again as the train curved past Dakota MN.

Here is another image of the CP 7034 and train 287 at Dakota MN. CP train 475, BNSF 6393 followed 287 out of River Junction with it's eight motors and 140+ cars, shown here swinging past Dakota MN. CP 694 finally showed up in Dresbach MN with the two elderly SD40-2s doing as GMD intended, CP 5976-5946 were moving 103 sand buckets to Oakdale WI. Enjoy your day!
