In contrast to the monster combined stack trains both BNSF and UP have found themselves running of late, this rather short 4x0 was framed climbing eastbound out of the Bristol Sink between Cadiz and Danby on the Needles Sub yesterday.

As a engineer I can say that having 9 engines all online on a 125 car empty coal train, that might be close to being overpowered. I sure didn’t mind though.
