A scene from Beulah today, reminded me of a story I have now heard several times. It seems that a crew van driver from a Southern state (name of van company, gender of driver withheld to protect the innocent) was working in Montana because of a shortage of drivers. The driver was dispatched to pickup a dead crew at Hodges, MT. after dark (Note-I have been to Hodges at night and it's very dark with no lights for miles). There is no cellular service there either. About an hour later the driver reported that they had turned around and they were not returning for personal safety as the area was "thick with black bears ". Now Montana has plenty of bears but not in the eastern part of the state. Perhaps the photo below could give a hint of what the driver saw.

The bears with the horns on them are the ones to look out for, and stay away from the end with the swishing tail. Bad stuff.
