Overcast, wet, cold, what more could ya ask for?
Author: ns2557

Had to be in Pueblo Co yesterday for a Dr visit. When we left home we had a mix of rail/snow/ice. Got east of town, ahead of it all, or so we thought. After the visit we went to see if anything was around town. After chasing a SB Coal Load (EB when leaving Pueblo til Las Animas Jct, then SB we came upon this train of empty flats used to haul blades for the Wind Energy folks. BNSF ES44C4's 8130 and 3268, which is one of the newest on BNSF, sit while waiting for a signal to go thru Pueblo Jct which lies just ahead. Shot is from the embankment off of I25 and looking west. Both yards are to the rear and right in the shot. Ex DRGW/MOP Engine facilities are to the rear left in shot.. Had some more snow here while at doc's but as one can see, it pretty much was gone by the time we took the shot. TFL, be well everyone and most of all Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Ben

It's a "B" train amongst lovely weather.

It looks like an empty wind turbine train.

Could very well be an empty blade train, would think BNSF would run that as a B, be interesting to find out.

Didnt get the symbol on this one, but it stretched from Pblo Jct back into the yard. L O N G indeed. Rear few cars had the Sling Frames that hold the weight on them. Rest were perhaps for Nacelles as they were basically empty/void of anything on them. Some of the "B" trains thatdo run thru here are Repo Trains, symbol wise.  Ben

Yup Ben that's mostly the case on the B stuff, anymore it doesn't go somewhere and just sit.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and be well
