Back on 4 August 2015 UP 1983, Western Pacific Heritage unit, led a grain train from Goshen Junction to Cheyenne Wells, CO, on UP's Limon Subdivision near Watkins, Colorado.

Amazing that this unit (& the other 5 Union Pacific Heritage SD70ACe units) are getting close to 15 years old!!!

The Olympic unit is still running around, the paint turning 20 soon.

I'm pretty sure the paint is much younger than that. The UP repainted them in-kind, which shocked the heck out of me when they did it.

I believe all of the six h-units also have been at least touched up. The Wikipedia article about them states, however, that UP1995 (C&NW heritage) has been out of service since summer with electrical issues, and the author indicated there is some doubt about its future.

The SD70ACe’s were repainted.

Still non-isolated cabs and suck to run as the harmonics are aweful.

Before the repaints, the interior of the cabs were/are awful, rattle, and look like any other road unit, unfortunately.
