Western Railroad Discussion > Final Update on Online Radio Streams (Arizona and California)

TO'ers,
As some members here listen to audiofeeds, I wanted to post a final update.  At the end of Decemeber I mentioned about us moving our Online RadioFeeds to our own Server.  The migration is complete and the new server is online.  Some members have asked why we made did decision.  First reason was the complaint Broadcastify did with too many ads.  We believe this is a Hobby and should be enjoyed as such so there will be no ads on these streams.  Also, we were split up between Broadcastify and Railroad Radio, however, we now have our own ShoutCAST Server and all Streams (except Flagstaff which is offline), have been converted over to the new server.   To access the streams, please visit here:

Streams Available that are hosted on our Server:
Arizona Streams
- BNSF Seligman Sub / Kingman Terminal Railroad: Kingman, AZ Area.
- BNSF Seligman/Phoenix Subs / Grand Canyon Railway: Williams, AZ Area.
- BNSF Seligman Sub - Flagstaff Area. Currently Offline due to Weather.
- BNSF Seligman/Gallup Subs/ Winslow Yard: Winslow, AZ Area.
- Union Pacific - Phoenix Sub - East Mesa/Queen Creek Area.
- Union Pacific - Lordsburg Sub/Tucson Yard - Tucson - Vail Area.
- Union Pacific - Gila Sub - Dome to Mohawk, AZ Area.
- UP Gila Sub/Yuma Yard: Yuma, AZ Area.

California Streams
- BNSF and Union Pacific - Cajon/Needles Subs/Barstow Yard - Barstow, Daggett, Yermo Area.
- BNSF and Union Pacific - Cajon and Mojave Subs - Phelan Area.
- BNSF Needles Sub: Needles, CA - Topock, AZ Area. Testing/Trial Site.

The files that are downloaded are .pls files for streaming audio to a Network Mediaplayer like VLC, WinAMP or iTunes for example.
In the future, we will see about offering additional formats.  Enjoy!

Thanks!  Corrected the link.  Somehow I managed to add a quote at the end of the link.   It should work now.
