The high-low was 41-31 with .33 of rain yesterday. More rain on the way.Yesterday was a rainout, so went food shopping in Spokane. Traffic is at 20 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some of the trains from today and the last couple of days.
1/3/2021 1. WB 258pm coal train with BNSF 5614-4082 on the point with DPU's. 2. DPU's BNSF 6950-6027 on same train. 3. WB 427pm ballast train with BNSF 4107-7129 on the pull with no DPU in low light. 4. WB 1035am grain train with BNSF 7427-8750 on the point with DPU in the rain which lasted all day. 5. DPU BNSF 8018 on same train. 6. WB 1155am grain train with BNSF 8218-8456 on the pull with DPU's in the rain with a friendly toot-toot-wave from the hogger. 14. The End of same "Z" fading away by old NP Ritzville Depot. 15. Grab shot of EB 207pm manifest train with BNSF 6855-5222-7735-4193-5428 and MRL 4316-4403 on the pull with no DPU. 17. EB 231pm empty oil train with BNSF 7659-7839 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger. 18. DPU BNSF 5510 on same train. That's it for today. These two units have been going to/from the MRL and Pasco for a week now that I know of. Larry caught the M-PASLAU-1-05A with the 4316-4403. LAUPAS/PASLAU trains have gotten MRL power to go as far as Pasco before turning back to the MRL. I believe MRL might owe BNSF HPH or not. When the MRL SD40's a few years were floating back and forth between the MRL and Pasco, Larry got them a few times at Ritzville in daylight. Pedro, BNSF carries wheat (lots of it as Larry pointed out.), corn and peas that I know..
