A truly Watercolor winter sky.

Gotta hand it to the La Niña style ocean-atmosphere weather phenomenon that rebuffs California's more typical 'winter season' North Pacific weather systems, shunting them northward some 3-500 miles. All this leaves behind is the faint, feathering southern fringes of these long trailing cold fronts to brush across the southern half of the state. Thus presenting the unusually silky sunrise and sunset images on display around the region this season.
