I like to watch # 7&8 on the Skykomish Cam.  Does anyone know what happened to 7 today?  Was it the predicted landslides?

Wind, rain and flooding in the region last night.

if the sounder is cancelled amtrak is cancelled, the sounder is cancelled for 2 days-bnsf 48hour policy   i think i read recently the sounder is down?

if this is the case should 7 just  go via portland  or stampede? 

Severe winds all over Montana today. (wed) Gusting to 78 mph here in central Montana.  I suspect no trains are moving on the Empire Builder route thru MT.  Winds also hit quite hard in the Libby MT area and farther east in the country where these winds don't usually hit.  Guess it all depends where #7 went off the radar at but if it was in Montana, I think it safe to assume WIND.  Lived here all my life and I've never seen a sustained wind like this.  It's been 6 hr now.

7 was in MT yesterday, not today.  Transitdocs shows it in & out of Leavenworth, WA more or less on time but never reaching Everett.  I don't know where the landslide concerns are, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sounder is shut down from Everett to Seattle so all the Amtrak's should be too.
