As I understand it, someone had the deal almost done till someone else made the BNSF mad and the deal was called off. I don't know if that's true, but I sure wish it had happened....

I don't either. I have heard through some sort of grapevine that BNSF has said NO WAY that diamond ever gets put back in. But there is one thing etched in stone, that I learned in my 32 years on the RR: "Absolutely NOTHING in the RR world is etched in stone..." ;^) |
