BNSF Derailment

BNSF has had a derailment at Hibbard, about 11 miles East of Winslow invoving from reports an S train,
both mains are blocked.

Yup, heard about that on the Winslow Stream.  Didn't they just have a derailment there last year some time too?

@RailfanAZ, yes close. It was further West at Hart's crossing (one of two private crossings before Winslow).

I have no info on this new derailment, but the Stack is a 15K.

Photo over on FB shows a rail stuck though the top of the double stack and sticking up another 10’ higher and 20-30’ out.

Impressive.

I drove by. Seen the Stack in three pieces. Looks like it happened between the B and C consist. Most of the train as moved to Winslow. There was a double stack on the adjacent main detached from a Q train parked between the switches there.

Believe it, or don't, not everyone knows where Winslow is located!

To me Winslow is in Nebraska north of Fremont on the Souix City line.

Now of course these PSR-driven mega trains are completely safe to the point the BNSF CEO would like to eliminate conductors!?!?
