BNSF Trackage Rights Train at Snowy Big 10 on 20 Feb 2021

Westbound BNSF 6899, ES44AC, led 3x2 DPU set up Denver, Colorado, to Provo, Utah, train up snow covered Big 10 near Rocky west of Arvada, Colorado.  BNSF train UP trackage rights 20 February 2021.  Rear DPU's; BNSF 6871, ES44AC, and BNSF 997, C44-9W.

Very good pictures cozephyr.  Noticed those cars on the other side of the BNSF train.  Put there many years ago by DRGW as a protection measure after a high wind event blew some freight cars off the track.  Wonder if there is any report on that accident that is still accessible today which must have been in newspapers at that time?

Thank you rrpreservation!  Just exactly what I was looking for.  March 1969 the wind event occurred which blew the freight cars off the track.
