Canadian Visitors on BNSF Unit Sand Train 22 Feb 2021

CP 8044, AC4400CWM, and Central Maine & Quebec 1006, AC4400CW smoking, were the rear DPU’s on BNSF unit sand train; U CPFFTC = Ottumwa, Iowa, to Fort Collins, CO.   The westbound 100-car loaded unit sand train was accelerating after rolling meet with BNSF’s Hudson Turn on the Brush Subdivision at Commerce City, CO, February 22, 2021.

The CMQ unit will trace as CEFX 1006 for those interested and able.  CEFX 1006 among others was leased to BNSF 15 years or so ago for 3 years.
