Western Railroad Discussion > Some Recent Black and White on Cajon PassDate: 02/23/21 15:49 Some Recent Black and White on Cajon Pass Author: TheNavigator There seems to have been an influx of NS power on the Cajon Sub lately (no Heritage Units, unfortunately), but solid sets of foreign power have not been common. Here's a few shots of a couple of the all-NS consists that I was able to catch, thanks to some timely heads ups.
Thanks for looking, GK 1. From Jan. 18, DC to AC conversion AC44C6M NS 4122 is westbound at Lugo on its trip from the east coast to LA. 2 and 3. A couple of more views at the Mormon Rocks area. Date: 02/23/21 15:51 Re: Some Recent Black and White on Cajon Pass Author: TheNavigator 4. Also on Jan. 18, NS 4259 -- another DC to AC conversion -- is the rear DPU facing the right way on the West Colton-Ogden manifest.
5 and 6. Today, NS 8176 is leading another westbound at Martinez and then around Sullivan’s Curve. Date: 02/23/21 16:13 Re: Some Recent Black and White on Cajon Pass Author: 3rdswitch Nice bunch.
JB Date: 02/23/21 16:48 Re: Some Recent Black and White on Cajon Pass Author: SCKP187 Nice shots. Glad for you to get the foreign power. Even here in Oklahoma NS units have been plentiful on the UP

Solid sets of BNSF power make it as far east/north as Charlotte NC on a regular basis. NS trains 264 and 265. These run to and from San Bernardino. Nice shots Gary.
