I'll bet the neighbors loved it. Gary Date: 02/28/21 09:34 Re: Signal Sunday, Off The Rails - Roseville, California Author: Ritzville This house reminds me of my late friend Bill Stokoe's house in Tehachapi, CA. All his signals worked. Before retiring from the the SP, Bill was the Signal Supervisor for that area.

Date: 02/28/21 11:37 Re: Signal Sunday, Off The Rails - Roseville, California Author: santafesteve I found and inquired about this house on TO many years back, at least 10, after a trip to Winterail on my way to my sister in laws place in Portola. The response I received is that it belonged to a retired SP signal engineer by the name of Bill Skokee (not sure of the spelling). I also have a few rolls of KC of it. There was a interview with him at the house on on of the history channels and on YouTube a while back but I have not been able to find it recently.
Steve Kelly Date: 02/28/21 12:24 Re: Signal Sunday, Off The Rails - Roseville, California Author: PHall Tolerant neighbors and no HOA to deal with. And it seems the local Code Enforcement folks don't have a problem either.

The signals that were at the home in Tehachapi are now displayed in the Tehachapi Rail Park adjacent to the Tehachapi depot/museum, and are quite an attraction.
