It was another sunny mild Winter's day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with the high-low of 58-33. Traffic is at 16 or more trains since midnight. Here some trains from today and the beginning of the March.

3/1/2021

1. WB 424pm manifest train with BNSF 4219-6655 on the point with caboose an DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. DPU BNSF 5124 and CWW 271 caboose on same train.
3. Another shot of caboose CWW 271 on same train.

4. WB 503pm coal train with BNSF 5615-8116-8203 on the pull with DPU.

9. WB 1031am garbage/ manifest SPOPAS train with BNSF 7992-4389-green BN 3128-1411-3007-1655 on the point with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.

The train with the caboose and pusher on rear is a train each crew is going to have 21 questions about! Its not a working caboose, so it should be behind the pusher. They way it is now would make the train 10 mph.

Of course, a Form C in your General Track Bulletins can supercede train makeup compliance solely for convenience.

More info on the caboose. It was former MMA VB-4 and then went the the Frontier Rail/ Columbia Rail's Cincinnati East Terminal. This post on TO stated it was the last CCET equipment on site.
