Mega Time On The BNSF Lakeside Sub

It was a Nice mild Spring type day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Northern Transcon. The high-low was 59-33 so far, might hit 60. Traffic is at 20 trains since midnight with more on the way. Had two Mega trains in row yesterday and one today. Hadn't seen any Mega trains for a few weeks and then there were 3. Here are a few trains from today and yesterday.

3/3/2021

1. WB 259pm garbage/manifest with BNSF 3254-5407 on the point with no DPU.
2. EB 336pm 3x2x1 Mega grain with BNSF 3843-4439-4348 on the pull with DPU's.
3. Middle DPU's BNSF 5900-6932 on same train.

4. End DPU BNSF 6194 on same Mega train.
5. EB 405pm 3x2x0 Mega manifest with BNSF 6063-5205-7650 on the point with DPU's.
6. Middle DPU's BNSF 5179-8096 on same train.

7. Old Rock Island hopper rolling in same train.
8. The end of same Mega train.
9. EB 417pm manifest with BNSF 7070-4722 on the pull with no DPU.

10. EB 1107am intermodal with BNSF 3263-5641-5939 on the point with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
11. The End of same train fading away by old NP Ritzville Depot.
12. EB 1116am grain with BNSF 3262-5641-5939 on the pull with DPU.

13. EB 1139am manifest with BNSF 5773-4186-7442-9371 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
14. Old LEF&C boxcar rolling in same train.
15. DPU BNSF 8160 on same train.

16. EB 1152am 3x2x1 Mega grain with BNSF 6868-5229-5409 on the pull with DPU's.
17. BNSF 477432 GN Heritage Hopper rolling in same train.
18. Middle DPU's BNSF 8444-5686 on same train.

I spotted that GN hopper while the train waited outside of Downtown Kennewick on the Yakima Sub Thursday morning.
