My take on the MRL SD70ACe's on the H-LAUPAS
Author: BrianA

Like a number of others I happened to be on the BNSF's Lakeside Sub Saturday 3-27-21 and among other trains had a great chase of the MRL SD70ACe's.  This is between Cunningham and Hatton, WA from the SR 26 overpass.  And like our own Larry "Ritzville" I too photographed the ex-CNW hopper car on this train.

Interesting those loaded coal hoppers or gondolas made it onto this train.
Great photos!

Those are "small lots" of coal from a larger coal train that is loaded for multiple customers, aka exploda-coal. Loaded at Spring Creek Mine, split up on MRL. These go to Longview, WA.
