Pool Power Saturday in the Mojave Desert!
Author: BeaumontHill

Yesterday afternoon was a good day to spend along the BNSF Needles and Cajon Sub's. My first two targets were a pair of Westbound's on the Needles Sub. The first was NS 4347 west leading the QNYCLAC. I set up east of Pisgah at Lavic for this train, and another pool leader following closely behind.

The 2nd train of interest was a Sweetgrass to Fresno grain load with CP 8606 leading. Running about 45 minutes behind the NS's, also at Lavic.

Lastly, now on the Cajon Sub between Oro Grande and Victorville, KCSM 4664 brings up the rear of a North Platte to Mira Loma auto train.

Lots and lots of pool out there right now, get it while it lasts!

Nice images, we saw a ton of BNSF power on Cajon yesterday as we came down the pass. But no pool power, so you had some great luck.
