Monday afternoon I looked around the shortlines of the Palouse country before heading off to Connell to explore an abandoned railroad grade. By the time I found the shortline trains, they had been tied down for the day.

1. Watco PCC train tied down outside of Endicott, WA.

2. Spokane Spangle & Palouse ex-Kennecott Copper high-cab GP39-2's tied down at Palouse, WA.

3. Former UP insulated boxcars used for athletic equipment storage at Colfax, WA.
