(Kind of) New Units on the CP
Author: AndyBrown

CP's rebuilt 8100s are migrating north at a regular pace now; 4 came up on CP train 475 on Easter Sunday (I didn't get this move due to family activities, but the guys that did get it did very well), and 6 more today on 475, shown here at MP236 on the KC line between Letts and Fredonia, IA, and again at the Lower Yard in Muscatine where the crew will do some pickup and setout work.

Not quite as exciting but not too bad either was the consist on 474 with a BN C4 and a CP Heritage scheme '70, leaving the New Yard south of Muscatine after the crew did some work there.

Thanks for looking!

Andy

Nice work there Andy. Some of the locals went to Dubuque to get a CN Ballast train with a IC Death Star leading.

I remember when the CP was mostly SD40-2'S. I'm old.
