This photo is not remarkable or dramatic but it's very important to me. This is my first post-vaccine, release from Pandemic Prison, train photo. It's a westbound BNSF stacktrain at MP 346 in Hesperia. It was a real treat to finally get out and get trackside after nearly a year. My last outing was on May 1, 2020 when I sealed myself up in my SUV and drove around the Tehachapis. 
We had a great day on Hiill 582 and were blessed by the railfan gods with 24 trains and 1 light power move.

I hope many more of you can finally get out, get free and go trackside.

I'm curious how you came up with Milepost 346 at Hesperia. Hesperia is about MP44 to 45.-BMT

Maybe he meant MP 34.6.

Oops, sorry! It was between MP 46 and MP 47 which is close to the world-renowned “Dump” where we meet to eat. It’s west of Hesperia proper.
You’d think that after 60 years of creeping around Cajon Pass and the desert I’d know better. Blame it on age and the excitement of the moment.
