Mother Nature's Antics On The BNSF Lakeside Sub
Author: Ritzville

It was a cloudy, smoky with drips day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Northern Transcon with a high-low of 81-72 with humidity and .03 of drips. Had 40mph winds last night ushering in the cold front. The last two days were 106 with smoke and humidity, YUK! Mother Nature gave us a break today with the high heat returning tomorrow and back into the 100's with another cold front on Thursday. I'm ready for Fall. Train traffic has been down in the heavy heat. Traffic today is at 20 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are spme trains form the end of last month and a few from the new month.

3. WB 349pm manifest train with BNSF 7311-5019 on the pull with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot-wave from the hogger.

The smoke finally has reached us on the westside. Orange sunlight this AM near Everett.

Nice trains Larry. I like the big consist of box cars and the military train. Avoid to stay outside in the smoke, if possible.  When we have fires around here it uses to be terrible too.

That military train might be the one that was unloading in Everett the past few days. I was wondering which route they would take
