Here are 2 examples of these cars on a Union Pacific Fresno-West Colton Manifest last week.

Some of these make it as far north as Seattle, you can seen them rumbling past the Chehalis cam in the middle of the night on the MPTFI (or whatever the current symbol is) sometimes...

The ex NdeM cars also come through Pittsburgh on Norfolk Southern periodicaly. Allways nice to see them. I even saw an Ferrocarill del Pacifico (FCP) 50' boxcar a number of months ago. Nice catch.

We were just talking about this, that BNSF still runs Coors beer in insulated boxcars to Portland and Spokane, LOL with beers in hand.  He said that they back haul cardboard containers back to Golden CO in the box cars on their way back.

Coors is shipped in insulated boxcars at the customers request and they pay for it too.
