This particular train symbol (according to the "La Plata, MO, Virtual Railfan Independent Train Log") was: U-EAPSUP (unit train from Eagle Pass, TX [FXE] -- to -- Superior, WI).

I believe this is the top of a hill and where two BNSF lines cross over one another? I didn't even know iron ore trains ran through here, so Thank You much for documenting this photo! Now I know lol. Very close to that spot, yes! Also, I too did not know they ran iron ore trains through here based on watching the La Plata, MO, Virtual Railfan camera, so it was defintely neat to see. Thank you for the kind words as well! |
