The Dry Canyon bridge was returned to service at 07:00 on 8/2/21. Daily 5-hour windows are scheduled over the next 8 days, but full operation has been restored otherwise.

The Canyon Sub has been returned to service as of 18:55 on 8/1/21. The first train over the repaired bridge at milepost 278.78 was at 19:25 on 8/1/21.

Looking things over, I see trains are returning to the Shasta and Feather River Canyon routes. No Roseville outbound detours via Sparks/Ogden/Granger are showing any longer. There are still about 10 or so trains PNW to California trains that are out there making the long detour via Granger, WY.

And the all important UPS ZLCBR 02 is past Girvan at 16:21 with an outbound crew already called for it at Dunsmuir.

That'll ease up Donner Pass' congestion finally, now the question starting tomorrow is Amtrak gonna start running 11 and 14 through the whole route!

What is the correct mile post for UP Dry Canyon bridge?  According to my SP timetables the mile posts for Black Butte Subdivision are MP 322.1 Dunsmuir to MP 429.5 Klamath Falls.
