It was a hot with smoke haze in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 89-56, lots of smoke this week. Traffic is at 19 trains since midnight with more on the way now that the tie train is in the yard. With the tie work train running around there has been traffic lulls. Repaired hopper was picked up last night. Here are some of the trains from this week.

9/5/2021

1. WB 617pm coal train with BNSF 6335-7921 on the point with DPU's.
2. DPU's BNSF 7602-7964 on same train.

3. WB 1126am coal train with BNSF 6417-8789 on the pull with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.

10. WB 337pm coal train with Warbonnet 707, FEX 4069 and BNSF 5113 on the point with DPU's. Best looking train of the week power wise. Always enjoy a Warbonnet on the point.

24. New ties on the ground in backyard. Was at Dr's appointment when they dropped ties, darn it.

Thanks for sharing, Larry! Note in photo 21 different placement of BNSF on the two units . . . one letter for each side door, making a "shift" easy to do?
