Not That Flat

Despite the exaggeration of the telephoto lens, the Union Pacific descends a short, but noticeable grade coming into Sandown on the old Kansas Pacific just east of Denver. Back in July 2013 a pair of ex-MP GP38-2s awaited their turn either into or around the small yard.

Except for the fact that Limon's elevation is akshully higher than metro Denver's.......   ;-)
