Rare train northbound on montana sub today. Cauht a northbound with up6593 with 4 other units on the front of long sting of herzog open hoppers at hammer idaho at 3:00 pm

Last year about this time UP was doing Tie replacement around Melrose on The Montana Sub. IIRC it was on a Thursday when I saw the work being done.

I wonder what section of line they are working on now?

I want to make it out to the sub before winter hits what is a good day ? I will probably chase from dillon to siver bow.  Thanks for the info
