CP transfers on the IHB
Author: GN1969

Does CP use its own power on the IHB transfers to CSX and NS?
Is the IHB as good for CP transfers to CSX and NS as the EJ&E has been for CN running around Chicago?
Thanks.

CP doesn't interchange directly with CSX and vice versa. Instead, they use the BRC Clearing Yard to accomplish this. I should note my statement is based on carload freight, not run-through trains.

CP power is more likely to be seen on BRC than IHB.  However, it's possible that some transfers to CSX occur via IHB's Norpaul Yard located south of the Metra/CP main at Franklin Park.
