Western Railroad Discussion > Kansas City, MO train questionDate: 10/21/21 17:24 Kansas City, MO train question Author: snemes Will visiting Kansas City I was at Union Station tonight about 6PM, saw a UP lead eastbound train that was pulling all empty well cars. My question is, was this a move between local area yards? Or, was this moving the cars further east for containers being moved to the west coast?
Thank you, Sean Date: 10/21/21 19:12 Re: Kansas City, MO train question Author: bmarti7 On those tracks it would be likely headed to Dupo (East St. Louis)

I've even been on a train of empty wells going west and we met a train of empty wells going east. Now the empties being repositioned usually just get added to other trains.
