Western Railroad Discussion > Another quick update on the SF #560 at SCRM 10/21/21

Yesterday Carl and I worked on the SF#560 in carbarn #7. If you look at the photo you can see Carl's legs working on the interior of SF #560's  interior metal and the masonite as necessary to return the locomotive to as close to "as delivered" status. I was in my usual position on the floor removing as much of the accumalated dirt mixed with oil as possible. If it becomes necessary to lift the locomotive off its trucks in order to clean and inspect the wiring and the traction motors it will easier to remove the majority of the "crud".
