H1 paint scheme "Dash9" on H-DENLAU manifest freight train
Author: jmulhol2

Under a sky littered with contrails and cirrus clouds, a trio of GE's, arranged 3x0 "elephant style", power a short 67-car northbound H-DENLAU manifest freight train past ~MP68.5 on the BNSF Front Range Subdivision in South Fort Collins, CO, during the pleasant morning hours of 11/27/2021. This was actually the scheduled H-DENLAU for 11/26/2021; however, between Boulder, CO, and Longmont, CO, the train broke in two owing to a bad knuckle connecting the last 15 cars to the rest of the train. After some trouble shooting, and having a carman come out from Denver, CO, the H-DENLAU was told to proceed to Longmont, CO, to do its setout and then tie down in Longs Peak siding. As for the 15-cars left on the main track, two motors off a northbound stack train in the siding at Broomfield, CO, were told to detach from their train, pick up the cars, and dump them into the Boulder, CO, siding for repair. Quite the eventful night on the BNSF Front Range Subdivision...

Power:
BNSF #4215 (GE ES44C4)
BNSF #1049 (GE C44-9W in H1 paint scheme)
BNSF #6542 (GE ES44C4)
