JPBX MP15DC 504 under wire

At 1:50 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021, the day after Thanksgiving, Joint Powers Board (JPBX, CalTrain) 504 is in San José, CA under the new catenary at San Jose Diridon Station. It's pulling a train being towed dead from Tamien through Diridon with JPBX 903 "Santa Clara" on the rear.

JPBX 504 is an EMD is an MP15DC. Reportedly: (According to good sources, including Strapac's fantastic SP Compendium books) JPBX 504 was built is 1974 by EMD as SP 2692 EMD MP15DC, SP Class ES415-7, Construction number 73625-03. It was retired by SP in July 1994. In March 1995 it was sold to Omni-Trax. In 1996 it was used by Acme Steel Corp. In Jan. 1997 it became UP 1289. In August 2002 it became Caltrain JPBX 504.

JPBX 903 "Santa Clara" is an EMD F40PH-2. Reportedly: JPBX 903 was built by EMD in 1985 as an F40PH-2 CDTX 903 serial number 836077-4.

Definitely like both photos.  #504 looks great for its 47 years.  #903 could use a paint job, but I expect that will not happen.
