Western Railroad Discussion > OK... so which is it?Date: 12/03/21 14:50 OK... so which is it? Author: santafe199 I thought that “AOK” is a real railroad. I’m sure it is. Until I see “AOKX” on a car, which USED to mean a private car-owner with no actual trackage, as I understood it. Maybe I have that wrong. Or maybe my camera made a huge typo, one for the record books! This is really earth-shaking, and might even threaten the structural integrity of the entire universe. I sure hope we can get to the bottom of this dilemma. So we can fix the universe. And I can go back to posting my own, normal tpyos... ;^)
1. AOK 202389. 2. AOKX 202665. These 2 hoppers were in Abilene, KS on January 13, 2021. Ownership can be private car owners, leasing companies ( maybe the case here) and museums.

Author: up833 Based on info on the net, so a "guess" its one of about 15 cars (2016) thats owned by Greenbrier. I think it was covered in Trains.
