Wind Turbine Free

It's getting more and more difficult to photograph Beaumont Pass and not have one of the numerous eyesores that decorate the landscape appearing in it. This example was achieved at the site of the old Mons crossovers as a 77 car string of empty autoracks out of Mira Loma descended the hill eastbound on the 13th of last month.

Same with the rolling hills and the Columbia River area  along highway 97 south of the river they are withing a 100yds on both sides ugly and quite often doing nothing.

Totally agree BAB, the John Day Dam probably produces more electricity in one day or week than all those bird killing unsightful windmills will in a year or two.
May be a stretch..
