Congestion comes to the port of Oakland.
Author: Badorder

There has been a long loaded doublestack train with international contrainers parked on the BNSF main 2 in Pittsburgh,  CA for several days now. Either their port of Oakland yard is full or they can't find a crew to take the train the last 40+ miles to the port. Maybe the ship is late. Or its PSR, congestion, whatever, this supply chain crap is getting worse.

Probably waiting for it's ship to come in. (so to speak)  See this all the time on the BNSF San Bernardino Sub. It's one of the reasons the holding tracks at Esperanza were built.
Allows them to stash several trains out of the way until the port is ready for them.

Maybe it has something to do with Hawaii being under a blizzard warning.
