it "was" a beautiful Saturday morning as I was sketching out my next painting, cool blue skies and abundant sunshine....until I went south of La Crosse WI to wait for two BNSF trains. The H NTWTUL was just coming round the curve and onto the tangent when BAM, the clouds threw a blanket over the sun, yes sir, just like that! Well when in Rome so they say here is the BNSF 8028 leading the NTWTUL just south of La Crosse WI. The second train was the U KEEMAD, ore loads bound for Madison IL running as the BNSF 9125. I waited north of Genoa WI with my 400mm and here are the results, clouds happens.

Really like the exhaust Heat Bloom on that last shot. Agree with santafe199, you are a Talented Tele Man !

Seems like in our younger days we went out rain, shine or clouds......
