Yikes, LPG tanks. Could have been WAY worse. Looks like westbound with those empty center beams.

The autoracks and the tankers were empty accoring to the trainmaster that I spoke too.

Certainly seems like Tehachapi makes the news more often than other hills. Maybe the RR's should re-think shorter trains over that hill. I know it'd create more traffic flow issues.

I'm wondering what's been going on with trains going on the ground these days up there compared to when it was still SP and Santa Fe!

Probably happened just as often, if not more. Trainorders wasn’t around then to report the daily railroading mishaps.
