saturday's beast crawls east through the canyon...........
Author: goneon66

warning:  this is a video of the 1st half of a LONG and SLOW stack train:

this is an e/b 3x2x2 stack train in kingman canyon on the bnsf's seligman sub this afternoon.  these multi-dpu'd huge e/b stack trains of marine/international containers are not as common as the once were, at least from what i see daily out here.  after a few attempts, i finally caught one in good light crawling up the canyon.
.
this 1st video is the 1st half of the train from the head-end to the mid-train dpu's............

Wellllll, the things WB pull into Winslow for a crew change and if a crew isn't immediately available they block the
WB tracks for a while, quite a while at times as in 15 hours the other day. But, we're told this is all part of Precision
Scheduling and there's no use upping train speed if there's no crew available at the next terminal but sometimes
you need to pull in because the onboard crew is going dead.
