Marias Pass is pretty closely paralleled by US2, I've never had an issue with scanner reception down there compared with any other mountain pass.

Mullan Pass

First of all, it's Mullan Pass, named after Captain Mullan, who engineered and built the mid-1800s wagon road between Fort Benton, MT and Walla Walla, WA.

And yes, it can be busy if there isn't a MofW work window going on. The road over the pass itself is primative, go slow. The snow drift should be off by now.

Depending how far you wonder around, be sure to give the security cameras at Blossburg a friendly wave.
