BN Heater Car #19 was previously GN Heater Car #19. It was originally an F3B built as GN #438B. ALLEN Date: 06/23/22 04:04 Re: Heater Car 19 Author: cozephyr Is the Lake Whatcom Railway operational -? Your last view was taken inside a coach - which coach-?

I've always thought those seats were removed from coach-lounges 494 through 499 when they became Travelers Rest buffet-lounge cars.

Those are definitely not "Sleepy Hollow" seats. Those are walk-over seats from a heavyweight car - maybe original to the car in the picture. Look at the heater car. Notice the rail is missing? And all the wood around it? Flooding took the Sumas main out and that is where the north leg of the wye switch was near the heater car and all the water ran through the "roundhouse " to the shops. He has to clean up by himself. So gonna be awhile. Most the RR looks to be in excellent shape. Lots of new ties and good rail. These seats are much older, non-reclining red plush seats, as far as I can tell.
