NS 1070 Wabash passed by Rocky Mountaineer @ Pinecliffe, CO
Author: cozephyr

Norfolk Southern 1070 Wabash Heritage unit was the rear distributed power unit (DPU) on Union Pacific's Savage Loadout, Utah, 105-car coal train parked at Pinecliffe, CO, 22 June 2022.  High-balling west was Rocky Mountaineer RMRX 8020 & 8021, GP40-3, with the 10-car Rockies to the Red Rocks Denver, CO, to Glenwood Springs, CO, and next day to Moab, Utah, train.

The UP's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision may not see as many trains as in years past but sure offered rare opportunities on 22 June-!

NO sound on first video.

2nd video with music and informative captions.

Very nice!  Unique capture with Rocky Mountaineer and the NS Wabash.  Good to see Rocky Mouuntaineer units again running.
