BNSF Lakeside Sub Author: funnelfan It appear that the fire started on the southwest side of Lind and moved through the south side of the town destroying 6 homes and 8 other structures. It burned on both sides of the BNSF mainline east of Lind most of the way to Hwy 395.

Saw some video this morning of downtown Lind, many people still there one downtown restraunt is open helping feed firefighters. Looks like most of what was lost isnt in the town itself but outside of it also an interview with the famrer whos combine started it. Know Lind very well having lived close to there for years. Hope all is well have friends there still. |
