Western Railroad Discussion > Pueblo Co the morning of 08-05-2022

This morning, 08-05-2022 received word that there was some interesting trains in Pueblo Co. While not seeing any of the ones in the Heads Up, I did find these 2 here hanging out.

Shot 1.  BNSF C44-9W 4729 in a sorta, kinda Rock Island conglomeration. At least it looks ok. But there is one panel in the ATSF/BNSF Red-Slvr section in the middle that has a small sliver of the BNSF H2 paint.. Makes one wonder if the Warbonnet section is the original for the unit?

Shot 2. And over on the sand track/servicing track were these 4 including 2 UP SD70ACeT4's, the 3075 & 3048. BNSF SD40-2 1844 and BNSF SD40-2 1933 in BN Grn are behind. Not positive, but believe these 2 are either coming out of the TTC or headed to the TTC. UP units do from time to time show up here in Pueblo on the BNSF, but not as often as one would think. These 2 are still pretty clean.

I saw a photo of the BNSF loco dated may 2019. This is a nice photo.

The answer to Ben's question, was Warbonnet the original paint job, is no.  The last GE Warbonnet delivered was the 4719.  I would be curious as to which 700 or 4700 lost it's hood.
