Western Railroad Discussion > H2 GEVO solo leader on an early morning loaded unit grain shuttleDate: 09/13/22 20:18 H2 GEVO solo leader on an early morning loaded unit grain shuttle Author: jmulhol2 A 117-car, 6,700+ foot-long, 16,300+ ton loaded unit grain shuttle train from Langdon, ND --to-- Madison, IL with power configured 1x2 is seen here departing the west end of the BNSF Grand Forks, ND train yard during the early morning hours of 09/13/2022. This train had earlier come off the BNSF Glasston Subdivision in a 2x0 configuration with the current DPUs leading. Note the friendly railfan honks at the beginning of the video and the classic "chugga chugga chugga" of the powerful GE DPU motors.
